![]() I will point out enough Spartan cores to have 1 grapple upgrade, as well as maxed out shields and thrusters with a few cores to spare. I will point out how to bypass certain sections if I feel like it's easy enough to not be more hassle than it's worth. This walkthrough will be focusing on combat and bypassing thereof, when applicable. They're also very weak and die easily so don't feel like you HAVE to be close to them at all times. It might sound counter-intuitive at first but it's therefore safer to be close to them. When you're close to them they won't shoot at you. This also makes them more dangerous to approach to melee them for shields. ![]() This deals significant damage and they're quite accurate with them. Jackals with Yellow shields will always carry a Mangler. You can sometimes work around this by smacking a Grunt to briefly stun him, and waiting a very small amount of time before finishing him off in the hopes that the 'Disruptor effect' has worn off allowing your shields to recharge. You should do this immediately at the start of EVERY level.Īll Grunts will use the Disruptor. To switch to Dynamo grenades, press -> or press your "next grenade" keybind twice when on Mouse and Keyboard. Throughout the playthrough, whenever I say "Grenade", I will be referring to Dynamo grenades. ![]() The Dynamo grenade will be the only grenade type you should ever use in this playthrough. Although this isn't always the best option as this can alert enemies who might not be aware of your presence yet.
